Regional leagues organised by SAFA, The SAB League, The ABC Motsepe League, The Glad Africa Championship and the Dstv Premiership. Further, we have development football leagues like academy leagues, Motsepe Schools League, Gauteng Development League and The Multichoice Diski Challenge.

Career Requirements

The requirements to become a football coach vary, but a football coaching certificate, physical education, or exercise and sports science is often required. Experience in coaching is a requirement for this career, and skills that a person needs include:

  • Understanding of the game
  • Being a good leader
  • Being very detail-oriented
  • Being an excellent communicator
  • Gaining coaching experience

Coaching Qualifications
