How much do agents make?
Agents typically work on a commission basis, which ranges from 1-15% depending on the client. Football agents earn between R13000 per PSL client per month. So if your representing Khama Billiat of Kaizer Chief who earns around R830 000 per month or Deon Hotto of Orlando Pirates, who earns around R500 000 per month, 1-15% of that monthly income is yours.
However, if your client moves to a European League, you can be making much more with one player. For example, Percy Tau moved to the Premier League and earned around £30,000 (R530 000) per week.
